I am currently based in Springfield, VA. I do all my newborn sessions in my home where all my props are and where I can keep a comfortable, cozy and clean environment for my little guests. I currently do not travel to clients homes for any sessions.

I love being a part of this special period in your life with the new addition! Before the session, I'll send you a guide to prepare you for what to expect during your session and how to best prepare yourselves and baby. What to bring, wear, location etc.

I pose babies on a posing bed and use props such as buckets and baskets. A heater is used in the room to keep baby nice and warm to encourage a deep sleep. Your baby will be supported at all times. I may oaccassionally require your help to sit near baby whilst I take the photo. Safety is first!

A non-refundable retainer is a portion of the session fee that is paid to secure your session date. It is due upon booking. The remainder of the fee must be paid no later than the date of your session. Your session is not considered booked until the retainer has been paid AND a contract has been signed. The retainer fee is 30% of you total session fee.

NEWBORNS: The best age for newborn portraits is 5-21 days. The best time to book is before you've had your baby so we can secure a date for you. It is still possible for portraits past this age, but you will have to understand that not all poses and wrapping will be possible on older babies.

MATERNITY: Maternity photos are best done between 31-38 weeks, although it is totally up to you.

MILESTONE: I offer sitter sesssions at around 5-9 months age when baby can sit unassisted. 1st birthday sessions are held between 11-12 months. You can book when you book your newborn session, or anytime after that!

Depending on availability and any family commitments, sessions may be offered on a weekend. I take a limited amount of bookings a month on weekends so don't leave it too late to book your session!

I always choose quality over quantity and that's why I will choose the best and most significant photos to show in your proof gallery. Generally, your proof gallery will contain anywhere between 20-40 images. How many you receive depends on how many comes with your chosen package or how many you additionally purchase :)

Each photo receives extensive edits. Distracting background objects are removed, lighting is corrected, and skin flaws are corrected. Don't worry if your baby is particularly red or jaundiced, or even if they have baby acne, all of that will be taken care of.
If necessary, I will also change a few heads around if siblings aren't looking at the same time!

The same amount of editing is applied to adults, achieving the perfect studio portrait look.

An additional fee per image will apply if you want additional edits that are beyond my normal workflow.

You will be sent a proof gallery (lightly edited) to choose your favourite images to be included in your package within 2 weeks. Here, you will get the chance to purchase any extra images you might like. You can also purchase other a-la-carte items from me. After selecting your images, I will fully edit them and you will receive the final images within 4 weeks of your selection date. Albums, folio boxes and prints may take up to 8 weeks to be delivered to you.

You can purchase any product that is listed in the A-la-carte price list. If you wish to purchase any products, simply add them to your cart in your gallery. Once you have paid for the products, you will add notes to the images you want in your products.
Purchases may take up to 8 weeks to deliver depending on the product. I also sell prints, please message me for more information.

My photography style is simple, classic and timeless so my set-ups tend to be more minimalistic. For newborns, I will use simple props, and solid backgrounds. For milestones, a simple backdrop, a garland, balloons, maybe a chair or basket. I do not offer themed cake smash sessions.
